Robert Davis is a Howard county native, who has experienced basketball on the professional basketball level. Through out his career he has been able to become player of the year twice. Davis was the Howard County Player of the year at Marriotts Ridge High School in 2014. He was also, Player of the Year of the CIAA in 2018 at Johnson C Smith University. Davis then went on to play basketball professionally overseas in Cyprus where he lead his team to the playoffs, and in Portugal. Since he has finished playing in 2020, he started coaching at the college level right away. He was the Assistant Men’s basketball coach at his alma mater, Johnson C. Smith University. Then he moved on to becoming a skills and development coach at Howard County Community College. Davis’s passion, since finishing playing basketball has been pushing the next generation to become great at anything that they do.
A four-year D2 Northwood University basketball player from Columbia, MD. Coach Kevin started his basketball career at Northwood under the legendary coach, Rollie Massimino whom he gained great knowledge from. From there, Coach Kevin went onto work in basketball operations for the Washington Wizards. He then began his coaching career coaching both JV and Varsity basketball for Reservoir High School. Coach Kevin helped coach four successful basketball seasons there and a state championship appearance. Since then, he has enjoyed continuing to train and coach student athletes in his free time. Coach Kevin is also the son of ex-NBA player, Kevin McDuffie Sr. whom has run basketball camps in the Howard County area for over 20 years. During this time, Coach Kevin assisted his father and learned valuable lessons on basketball camps and training. Coach Kevin brings to the table unlimited knowledge and drive in aiding basketball players of all ages to reach their potential in their basketball careers. He is excited to be able to present this amazing opportunity to the Howard County area and invites kids from all over to join in for fun and learning this summer!
Fitness Instructor A graduate of Howard Community College in business administration. Kendall is a 28 year old that has a lot of experience and knowledge when it comes to the fitness and athletic world. He is a certified Group fitness instructor that inspires and motivates people from all ages and is excited to be a part of the camp this year. He has also played 3 years of varsity basketball at Howard High School in year of 2012, so this environment is where he strives and is excited to grow the new talent in this
